What you can expect at
Christ the Door.

How long is the Service?

Holy Communion begins at 10:30 am and lasts about an hour, sometimes a little longer if we have a Baptism or special occasion.

What about kids?

Please bring them.  We don't have a nursery so toddlers and infants stay with Mom or Dad during the service.  We do have Sunday School (1 class for all age groups) that begins at 9:30 am - the same time as Adult Christian Education.

How do people normally dress?

That depends on you.  Some wear jeans, (the priest does), and some dress business casual. Many like to do it up for Easter and Christmas though...just wear whatever is comfortable for you.

What's the Service like?

We use the 2019 Book of Common Prayer with a combination of traditional Hymns and contemporary music. The Sermons are almost always a reflection on the Biblical Lessons for that day and are usually 15 minutes or so long - just long enough to teach and not bore you.

What about before and after Church?

At 9:30 am is Christian Education for 45 mins.  Arrive a little earlier for a cup of Joe and a short visit beforehand.  After worship is always social time with soda, coffee and snacks - sometimes we share lunch.

PLEASE NOTE:  We are located in a gated community.  If you plan to visit, give us a heads up so we can provide a gate code.
